The Birth Game: A “Lottery of Life” Simulation

“Welcome to the womb. You are about to be born…”

In international schools, students come from everywhere, but may not understand each other’s privileges or challenges. The Birth Game changes that.

How it works:

Playing this interactive game, you are “born” into random identities using a unique card-based game. We navigate scenarios involving gender, sexuality, poverty, religion, and family structures—moving beyond theory to feel inclusion and exclusion, supported by evidence-based statistics and guided reflection.
